# The Thrivability Index > A shared open standard for measuring human flourishing. Eight pathways, grounded in cross-cultural research, free to examine, use, and build on. The Thrivability Index is a framework of eight independently measurable pathways of human flourishing: Mental Health, Emotional Wellbeing, Social Wellbeing, Physical and Biological, Financial Stability, Purpose and Meaning, Personal Growth and Learning, and Community and Environmental Engagement. It is built in alignment with the Global Flourishing Study (Harvard, Baylor, Gallup, COS) and synthesizes positive psychology, self-determination theory, social determinants of health, organizational health science, and behavioral economics. The Thrivability Index and the Thrivability mark are owned by Human Thriving Inc. The framework is published openly under CC BY 4.0, free to examine, use, adapt, and build on with attribution. ## Pages - [The Standard](https://thrivability.ai/): The full standard, the case for a shared reference, how the index is derived, relationship to prior frameworks, and the eight pathways. - [Methodology](https://thrivability.ai/methodology): How the instrument is constructed, scored, validated, and governed. - [Reading](https://thrivability.ai/reading): The individual reading against the standard, anonymous and free. - [Embed](https://thrivability.ai/embed): Ways to reference, link, embed, or QR-code the reading from other contexts. - [Contact](https://thrivability.ai/contact): Steward and governance contact for Human Thriving Inc. ## Full content - [Full site text](https://thrivability.ai/llms-full.txt): The complete content of the site as plain text, including the eight pathways, methodology, validation plan, instrument, and research foundations. ## Optional - [License (CC BY 4.0)](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/): Terms under which the standard is published.
